TERRACE RESTAURANT AND BAR
The Sunset Tower Hotel is an iconic Hollywood landmark. The historic fifteen-story Art Deco high-rise building is located on the Sunset Strip in the city of West Hollywood. The client’s project brief for the new Terrace Restaurant and Bar asked for a redesigned ground floor dining area, including the outdoor pool area. The scope includes a new restaurant seating layout and a new bar, and the redesign of the existing dining area.
Our design concept proposed to improve the appearance and functionality of the existing space to create an elegant, generous, flexible multi-use dining area. Syntax Design Lab is the architect of record on this project, in charge of documentation, design coordination of all disciplines, accessibility, egress and fire life safety, permitting, and construction administration.
